REALLY stupid question but does creatine add weight? Been eating the same amount of calories (deficit), but added creatine and more cardio… and the scales gone up a couple lbs

Because its function is to help you retain water in your muscles, it is not uncommon to add some water weight a few weeks after beginning to take creatine.

I’m no physician or athlete but based on my own use, research, and anecdotes, I’d focus on whether you can see an increase in performance/output in your workouts as creatine should translate more directly to that measurement. People in the fitness world are very bullish on creatine because it’s one of the most medically studied supplements out there. Some googling ought to turn up pretty reliable info as a result.

Hi, anyone ever try using a ovulation test as a positive result for pregnancy test? I had an LH surge couple of weeks back and for the past few days my breasts are tender and I am having some taste aversions like yesterday yoghurt tasted like mud. Since my cycle is irregular I took another ovulation test today morning and it came back positive. This is my first time going through this and I am confused as to what is going on. It's been a week since I went back to the gym (3x a week for now). My starting weight is 275lbs (5'9 so still obese). I feel good and happy that I have a support system now. This time I am not stressing myself about how much I want to loose in a certain number of months.
