Completed all the interviews and had positive feedback but before the offer I spoke with the recruiter (third party) and asked them if I can get to a certain compensation number as I might have couple other offers around that number but they got back saying the firm has decided to move on as they cannot match it. When is the salary and salary slips released ?

I rented a house that had been vacant for a bit & the prior tenant didn’t do a thorough job cleaning up. Agent indicated the owner would be open to having the house cleaned but I would need to have the house professionally cleaned when I moved out (that was fine w me). I just received the bill from the owner for $250, which is super annoying bc there was no expectation communicated that I would foot the bill for this, more so bc the cleaner did a LOUSY job.
