Go to Boeing. You can always come back to consulting as a more experienced hire. Follow the money. Or tell EY you have an offer, to see if they'll match it.
You seem severely underpaid for a CS grad. I wouldn’t take the Boeing offer. I would try to go to an actual technology company though
I’d worry more about getting the right experience / growth early on if you’re debt free. The money will come. If you have debt, take the cash and dig yourself out
I would suggest Boeing. Being part of the Air transport industry myself, it’s an interesting industry and a lot of growth opportunities.
You can come back to EY anytime.
The only problem with Boeing now is mess they are in because of the747 Max crashes.
Where did you graduate and where do you live? You sound pretty underpaid. Even the Boeing offer is pretty low for a comp sci major.
Take the Boeing job
Wtf...CS and only 50k? Do you want to do software? I’d recommend going to a tech company over Boeing and rec Boeing over where you are now.
Speaking from experience, this really depends on your end goal. If you want to be a dev for life, go the Boeing route. If you want to gain more soft skills, quicker route to managing people, stay at EY but let them know you're feeling severely undervalued and negotiate a raise. In short, you'll get a lot more soft skills quicker from consulting, it's just a matter of how worth it that is to you.
