Annual Performance bonus will be getting from 5** grade

I was in a similar situation few months back. My understanding based on what I saw in jpmc is that the managers (both onshore and local) are constantly trying to increase the headcount under them for their own growth. And people are obviously attracted to work at jpmc for the brand name even if the quality of work is not that great (which you don’t know unless you join the firm).
My suggestion to you is keep yourself updated with new skills and keep your profile updated on naukri, linkedin, etc.
Ultimately if you’re a good talent source, you’re good for any firm and not just jpmc. All the best!
Looks like you are pretty used to working in a dependent culture where people are easy to reach out. I worked at amazon before this and I joined jpmc two weeks back. I'm pretty used to work independently and not seeking any help as my best companion is my research and experiment. I am given tasks and I do them on my own, or put them on hold and highlight it during standups if I run into a roadblock. Do mistakes and learn from them, don't expect people to help as most of the high performing top product companies have this issue. Remember you've moved from a service based company to a product one and things aren't going to be the same. Learn from rhe materials that are available to you and you can move out to a new team or a new company with time. I believe your overall experience would be more than me so you might find it difficult getting a better pay outside right away. Be a little patient and things will work out.
Hi ,
I am also facing the same situation and no KT concept here ...
No support from colleagues who work in your team .
Give some time and try to settle down ...try to spend at least a year before deciding anything...
I am giving myself the same until I decide my next move ....
Same thing happened to me two years back, slowly you get to adapted the process and you get to know everything. Initially no one will give you KT here. Once you work on that particular features you will get to know everything one by one
Unfortunately, this is how it works in this LOB... No one listens to you, everything you do still seems little to the management.. Even if you tell the management of the lack of resources to do the job they'll just blame you for not finding work arounds but will not do anything to make the job easier... I used to like coming to work but I now just wait for my vacations so I can get some peace of mind... While this is an amazing company to work for, the people (management) make it difficult to survive in... I am so desperate to quit but I just can't because of the lack of job openings. I'm not sure if any of this is going to help but if you have sufficient backup to survive without a job for let's say 6 months then you should quit... Don't let your mental health suffer because of this job... Your well being should be more important than this job..

U r not alone maybe. I felt the same, but unable to decide my next move.
This has happened because you have joined CIB. This kind of culture only exists in CIB, AWM and Corporate. If you had joined CCB then you would not be facing this kind of problems. I have been with this company for over 12 years now and everybody I have worked with who has moved from CCB to other groups have also felt the same.
What is AWM? And are all the teams in CCB better than other LOB? In what way are they better?
Asking out of curiosity and desire to make a better decision if I have to as an outsider.
What is your tech stack?
If this is your fourth company, you likely have experience with various work cultures. Deciding to leave after just a few weeks can be hasty. While it’s important to trust your instincts, give yourself some time to adjust and assess the environment.
If you still feel it's not the right fit after a reasonable period, start preparing for your next move. Update your resume and network, so you’re ready to transition smoothly when a better opportunity arises. Ultimately, the decision is yours, and only you can determine what's best for your career.

Hi.. do you know about dib
Being the No. 1 in the sector the process and work culture they have is really bad. They use MS Teams for chat and Zoom for call. Both the application do not have both feature enabled at same time. MSTeams calls are so efficient
Hang in there.. and start trying outside first.. give a fcuk to this kind of team and specially manager under which this type of team culture gets build
Rising Star
faced a similar issue. Team members were not cooperative. They want to keep their dependency. So they won't help much. Regional language also plays a role.
Put extra effort to learn the application using internal wiki pages and KT videos. Tell your manager you need more KT or need a doubt session to clear your doubts. Find friends from other teams, create a network. If all these not working, try switching the teams.
Jpmc as a whole is a good company for the long term and it has very good policies.
Which team have you joined? Depends on team.
Welcome to JP !!! We all experience the same !!
Facing the same. Joined Sep 16. No KT.
Cib has this culture I was with etf team and same situation . I left in 1 year
Welcome to JPMC
But i thought jpmc is dream company , should we join accenture Infosys etc if offered same package
Ghatia se ghtia work culture hai.,, trust me i was very happy before joining jpmc.. eh halat hogye kl rat mme suicide attempt kr lea.. i m feeling very deltessed
Unrealistic expectation leke corporate me ghumoge toh aisa hi hoga sir. Agar achhe paise aa rahe hain toh paisa udaao aur stress kam karo. Agar nahi aa rahe toh company change karo aur achhe paise banao. Shayad mai amazon se aaya hu idhar isliye mujhe koi bhi work culture better hi lagta hai. Believe me, isse bhi bure work culture hain corporate me. Reels dekh kr bahut high expectations k saath company mat join karo, kyuki reels waali chizeen sach nahi hoti.
Which role?
