Recently passed my last cpa exam and have a job in mind I want to apply for that highly prefers cpa. Should I wait until I’m officially licensed or do you think having the exams done is good enough?

Just add somewhere that exams are done and license is pending. By the time you're hired you'll likely be licensed anyways.

like

You just need all the exams passed to get reimbursed from most firms. Don’t want to apply to the job.

like

Are you eligible for licensure now? What kind of delay are you looking at for getting licensed? Will a CPA be directly overseeing you in the new position so you can get your experience signed off on in the new position? I tend to lean towards just knocking out the licensure at Deloitte, but I definitely wouldn’t wait a long amount for a preferred position if the new job would allow you to get your licensure easily.

This is my first job in a large corporate company, and I’m trying to gauge how long it normally takes to move from entry level to another internal position in the insurance industry. I have been applying internally for a year now and I am wondering if this is normal or if my company is just slow? I am a top performer, with great metrics, and I have some wonderful connections I’ve made who support me. I just can’t seem to move up. How long did it take you to move up? How many tries did it take?

Hi Everyone,
I need your views and suggestions. I have two doubts:
1. Is it fair to leave an organisation (big brand) after a year as the environment is real toxic and there’s no career growth as well in terms of good work.
2. If I have to make a switch do I really have to target big brands only or can try for medium and small size companies too.
