Bain & Company Can someone recommend a good starting point on how to go around solving case interviews? What frameworks should I follow? I am kinda new to case interview and want to develop skills to solve them. Any books, online sources would be really appreciable. McKinsey & Company I’ve been working at ZS in technology consulting for healthcare clients for 4.5 years now and looking to transition to either McKinsey or BCG.
I’m looking to connect with people who are working or have interviewed here recently to get guidance on the process and how I can prepare for it.

Why don't you interview at both?
To me the risk with consulting and being a part of a rebuilding practice is your utilization will be terrible. You'll work your ass off but some other group might get one huge project and make people not on it look terrible. Additionally, if you do well it probably won't take much to get promoted and then you will be at a high level without the experience a SM at a larger firm has. So when you leave, you will get steamed rolled by others at your same level. Possibly. But those are some of the risks I see.
Come to ZS! Tons of opportunities and we do a lot of strategy work. We're expanding in to a lot of other areas that you might not traditionally associate with ZS too.
Cont'd - culture is great and there truly is no competitiveness in the environment. The people are (generally) super personable and genuinely smart and caring coworkers.
I've heard from folks who have worked at other firms that ZS has a better culture than most. I've stayed in consulting much longer than I expected mainly because I love the people I work with. There are a few bad apples here and there as with most places, but I generally admire the people I work with
What about culture at the two firms?
@D1, I probably will. Just wondered if the fishbowl has anything to say about them.
I've heard RB does more strategy than Zs
EY1 makes very real/valid points. on the flip side, if you help build something and stay... good on you. get in on the ground(ish) floor and you got your path set there
