Hi Fishes, I have offers from PwC(risk advisory) and IBM(app development). Thing is that the PwC joining is at Kolkata location but I don't want to go there and stay. There is not much difference between the offers in terms of package(10 & 10.4). Can I ask PwC to provide WFH or change my office location for this? Deloitte EY PwC KPMG
I was contacted by an Amazon recruiter for a remote Sr. Program Manager role. I took and passed the assessment and was moved to the hiring manager round which was scheduled for tomorrow. I got an email tonight saying that the Director of the group decided that the person must be in Seattle. I am in Austin, which is not an option. I’m disappointed! The recruiter will let me know if any remote roles come up but in the mean time, does anyone have any remote Amazon roles that they’d refer me to?

Worked remotely for a year. Could've been longer, but I chose to leave. I think it's more realistic if you've worked somewhere, proven yourself, then switch to remote for that same agency. Probably less possible to just get a new remote job.
I've been working remotely from SE asia for almost 2 years. Its good~
Yup. I take all the late night NYC work and do it during my day 12 hours ahead.
I'm on staff (NY agency) and work remotely. You can't get it at my agency unless the ECD knows and trusts you. I fly in about every 6 months.We have other remote people - all creative and editorial. I think it would be difficult to be a remote producer and impossible to be remote CS.
I had a great one for about two years, but not on the agency-side. That might be a myth haha
Worked for several years for an SF shop out of NY
@Freelance on American business?
Genius. I take it you're studio? I've heard of studio late shifts.
Myth - at least in Germany.
I'm an AD. Mainly banging out wire frames or graphs or concepts. Pretty much anything
I know of a couple people who work remotely full time at our agency. No one minds at all. But they had been here a while before they went remote, and they fly in occasionally.
