I currently work at a consultancy and as a rule you’re not allowed to have side gigs. I’m currently in need of extra cash and have an opportunity for some freelance work. Spent 5 nights at Marriott Wailea in June. Very nice place, but hard to go wrong at any place when you’re ultimately in Maui. Overall, I would recommend Wailea and would stay again. Can’t speak to Ritz, but I did get annoyed with a lot families and people hogging prime poolside chairs. Not sure if this is normal, but they make you pay for the best seats with ocean view. Ranged from $150 - $400 for the day. Tried to get an upgrade using gifted suite nights (Titanium status) and they didn’t have anything available. Either way, you can’t go wrong!
I stayed at the Ritz Kapalua for 5 nights last month. It’s a beautiful property and we were upgraded to a 900 sq ft one bedroom apartment so that was nice lol (Titanium status). But, I wouldn’t stay there again because it was really far from everything. We ended up having to drive an hour every day just to get to where we wanted to go. There is a beach nearby, it’s like a five min walk and it’s okay. The pool is great. If you’re just gonna hang out at the resort all day and play golf and stuff this might be a good place for you, but if you want to go out and visit different sites around the island I don’t recommend.

Think I’m only gonna play once while I’m there
