RSM senior 1& 2 risk consulting salary - pls share including your location if you can

Looking for opinions. I’m an IW with 2 yrs experience working from home at a Fortune 500 company w/ excellent benefits, target salary 75k. I was previously offered a job at another company where the 75k salary was guaranteed for the first year. Most people make much more than this once their comp fully ramps up, but, I would have to work in the office. I declined the offer, but now the CEO wants to meet with me several months later. Would I be crazy if I asked for 100k guaranteed salary?

Hello, I recently was reached out to by an in-house recruiter at a similar but slightly different company than the one I currently work for. The recruiter provided a base range and an OTE range. The lower end of that range is what I am currently making. The higher end of that range is almost 200k more than my current comp. The role is almost identical. I wasn’t looking to move, but that higher end range would set my family up very nicely for our goals. But I am happy at my current company. Help?

Has anyone left, or had an associate leave, a small firm and remain of counsel or in some other capacity to assist with a handful of matters going to trial? How did you structure compensation? Don’t want to leave my boss in the lurch with some big cases going to trial at end of year but also can’t use those as excuses to stay. Would like to offer a reasonable proposal. Even if boss turns it down, I’ll feel better about knowing I offered to help.

My remit quadrupled+ in a recent re-org with no increase in pay/promotion, my new director is new to the company and was zero help, and I was passed over for recent promotion during the comp cycle. What can I do with my 3 year experience at big 4, if I exit now? My aim was to always hit 6 figures after 5 years of work but I can’t stand the big 4 workload and stress levels that much longer. Always willing to work hard and long hours. But that is spilling over into Saturday and Sunday’s. My mind does not rest. Persevere or start looking elsewhere?

What does a person do who doesn’t find any industry accounting jobs interesting? I’ve been trying to leave for 3-4 years and the only thing that interests me is people focused roles such as sales. I considered recruiting but I’m jaded based on my interactions with most. Public accounting is a decent spot for me but I’m wanting a more consistent schedule of 40-50 and the self centered/dog eat dog culture of my firm continues to crush my soul more and more the longer I stay.
