Hi folks,
I've got an offer from Netcracker recently.
Based on the salary discussion, HR released the offer with 2Lakh less as promised and now telling me over and over again that they will revice it near the joining date and this is the process they follow for every candidate so that they don't go and shop in the market.Do you think I should trust them as they haven't given me anything in written but keeps on promising me over phone calls that closer to my joining date they will revise the offer.

In 1994, while interviewing for my first job, I was asked “What’s the worst as you’ve seen recently?”
After eviscerating a Mentos spot for 10 minutes they followed with, “Now let’s pretend your team just wrote the same spot; sell it to me."
I’m bored of asking the same though
^ that’s diabolical. I love it!
What's your go-to weapon of choice in a zombie apocalypse?
You're supposed to ask the same questions of all interviewees for apples to apples comparison when hiring, that's 101 stuff.
What do you mean running out? You need like 3-4 per interview...but you can ask the same ones with each different person lol
You don’t need new questions.
What are you usually asking?
Make it conversational. When they bring it up something even remotely of interest, ask a question about it, even if you know the answer. The key is the show you’re curious and eager about the job.
- Ask about clients, who you'll work for, if you have an opportunity to work on the clients you're interested in
- What kind of growth potential is there for you
- How closely do the design department works with creatives
- What is their favorite thing about the agency
- In your future role, do you get to do X (if you have a particular skill you want to learn)
- Work life balance
CSO1- that's brilliant.
"What question do you wish people would ask on interviews?" Alternatively, you could ask the most interesting one and what their answer was. Probably elicits a more candid response than the canned ones.
AD1 is correct
Now that you’ve raised the question - OP - I think you may have answered it, too.
Next time I interview someone, I plan to ask them “What’s the best interview question you’ve been asked, and why?”
Thanks for that.
