S1 in Dallas, expecting an offer from a newer CPA firm in the area whose primary growth to this point has come from acquiring other firms. They told me they’d want me to be “the face” of those offices for the existing clients, as well as working directly w the tax director to build out processes and procedures. Feels like a big jump in responsibility, but I’m not sure what to expect from the offer. Any advice or experiences someone could share, range of comp to expect, etc?

I’m trying to pivot to PM after >3 years in finance and I have a 2nd round interview with CPO this week. Company has 3.7 on Glassdoor with complaints about CEO, “bro-y” culture, and hard to wfh. It’s a data analytics company with 5 PMs, was bought by a PE firm this year, and has a new (female) CEO as of Oct. Role is 50/50 hybrid, pays well vs what I make, and most importantly would be a foot in the door to PM. Is this a good place to be for PM? What else do I need to find out to know for sure?
