I accepted a job offer in April to start a few months from now, post clerkship. All conflicts/background check went smoothly etc. Since accepting my offer, the firm has increased their 1st year pay across the board to be higher than my offer was (which was, at the time, what 2nd yeas got). When should I reach out to the recruitment attorney leading up to my start date? Or should I? (Haven't spoken since May) Should I bring up the salary or just assume its higher?

During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. i have an offer of X amount from jp morgan and x+ 3.5L from Mphasis, my joining is within a week, I asked counter offer from HR, she said we will look if there is any backup candidate to fill that position then we will not do counter and it will impact my DOJ also since offer approval process takes around 2 weeks. should i wait or should i join on my current doj. and also if i will wait will they give me another doj on my current compenstion or they will revoke the offer past doj?

I revised my CTC from JPMC before joining. Now in 1-1 discussion my manager told very nice things about me but also told me that my CTC is already above market standards for my experience and tech stack. He told that they won't be able to justify my pay and gave me SOO. How much is the hike and bonus for SOO rating?
