I know this has been posted before but I just need support. I’ve been back from mat leave for two months. I don’t like my job, my motivation to work is gone. I just think I hate this work. I am interviewing at other jobs but nothing is happening. I used to have so much drive to do well - even if I hated a project. Now I’m doing the minimum to just get by. I feel I need to be inspired work wise (hence, looking for a new job), but just kinda depressed and aimless.

I have a friend that has quit her job to start her own life coaching business. She has been working on it for a little over a year now and has recently launched. I struggle with how to be supportive in this instance. My practical side wants to tell her to get a part time job but she is adamant about going “all in.” Some of her business visions are a bit grandiose and I don’t want to bring her down to earth because I know she will think that I don’t believe in her.
