Say I’m an American looking to break into mid-weight planner roles in the London market. Would it help my applications if I offered to cover the visa application cost?

My superiors are asking me to contact CEOs of debtors to chase payments. We’re in B2B and payments are usually 30 days or more. As soon as we get someone over that and they don’t provide a payment date, I’m being asked to contact their CEOs somehow and demand payment. I think it’s dumb, will hurt the relationship and I also don’t want to ruin my reputation. Thoughts?
