I revised my CTC from JPMC before joining. Now in 1-1 discussion my manager told very nice things about me but also told me that my CTC is already above market standards for my experience and tech stack. I accepted a $115K base salary, 13% bonus, 10k sign on bonus (scientist supervisor) job and two weeks later, got a $135K base, 17% bonus, and 15K sign on bonus (Senior scientist role) offer from another company. Should I accept the new offer ? How do I tell the previous company about this? Also, I’ve already negotiated with the first company and the $115K base is the negotiated salary. I really do not prefer one company over the other. They’re both great! I’m very confused here. TIA🙏

For everyone asking how much hike can we expect at this rating(vc/hc/ec), please understand the below points:
1. Rating is only applicable on variable pay
2. Hike % is independent of the rating
3. Hike depends on a lot of factors like your current salary, how is it comparable to the market or the level you are in, do you have a progression/promotion, etc
