I have been a paralegal or legal assistant since 2010. I have worked for small and large firms and a TPA. I've worked in L&E, PI, and ID. Billing hours gave me nightmares. Right now I'm in a hybrid paralegal/LA position where I'm responsible for all of the docketing and supporting the managing partner and 1 associate and their 90+ ID caseload. Need advice. Top performer. Team members have been leaving and I have a stupid amount of responsibilities. I’m not complaining about that but some were very swiftly transitioned while I was dealing with other work streams. TLDR: I am super burnt out and am one of two people who does any technical work. I randomly get forwarded emails from my lead about work steams that predate my tenure on the project. I can’t do it anymore and I’m losing my mind. I’m an analyst so don’t know what do.
