Software > billable hours for business model. Salesforce is the correct choice

like

For one example - bonus for individual contributors is now 100% utilization attainment-based. It's an easy number to hit, but extracurriculars are only a differentiator for promotion now, not a way to get compensated.

Congrats on the offer! I was at PwC. There is a poor wlb and a whole slew of internal tasks you have to worry about. I would not recommend unless you want to use it to exit to SF and you’re already past that step!

like

where did you move? Agree especially when leadership wants to have mix S& and Mc/TC on the same engagement. We get forced to work longer since S& are working long hours (they can bill those hours but not us)... plus the comp. Then a S& partner leads the implementation...

Senior PA at Salesforce. Greater WLB, greater growth, no partner race, RSU benefits, more options to pivot later on

Agreed. This one is an easy decision.

This can never be a confusion. Sr PA at SF anytime. PwC can’t even think to match SF Benefits. And you have RSU at SF

weird that your profile says PwC and you said you have an offer from PwC for Sr Manager.

See you in Salesforce then... hopefully

Which one is a better choice?

1. Oracle India - 18.2 LPA fixed
2. Amadeus Labs - 17 LPA fixed + 1.5 variable + 75k joining bonus.

I want to join Oracle for its brand, but Amadeus on the whole provides better benefits than Oracle like transportation, food facilities and better hikes. Is it true hikes in Oracle are terrible?

And how is the job security in Amadeus?

I am 22, turning 23 in a month. I make $78k/year, which will increase by some amount in October. I have $10k in cash earning 8% interest. $6k in stocks, $10k in 401k, $10k in Roth, and $15k in crypto. I contribute 6% to my 401k since that’s all EY will match up to. What other strategies / investment options do you think I should consider?

How to find a financial advisor? Details below:

Im not looking for a robo advisor or someone to help me pick stocks. I need someone to help me determine how much should be in my HYSA, what should be in 401k/Roth, what should be in mutual funds or ETFs. How to advise on student loan repayment etc. I know most people either use their parents for this or are already in finance and have the knowledge. But I don’t even know where to start based on my unique situation.

I left my company because of toxic work culture and wanting to change industries. Now I’m having a tough time feeling like I’m finding a good fit. I think I want to do healthcare consulting, but I’m not sure if it’s better to do it at a smaller firm or a larger one (worried about being “too entry level” and being bored and bad work culture at larger companies). I feel like I’ve been looking and my standards need to change. Where do you recommend I look? Anyone willing to be a referral?

I've gotten multiple direct emails from a couple different Deloitte recruiters recently for Senior SAP HANA dev consultant roles. Curious if anyone here can speak to pay competitive-ness, WLB, other benefits, the HANA practice, etc. I'm a Manager at my current company, so definitely not happy about taking a "lower" title unless the benefits and WLB are worth it. I also am able to do a lot more than just HANA right now (BODS) and hope this wouldn't pigeonhole me

Not meant as weird flex, but senior client unexpectedly offered me a pretty big job. What’s the etiquette around these situations?
