Unfortunately, you probably are being ghosted. There's a special place in hell for rrecruiters.
Agree with all of the above. Recruiters dont really care about you, so the only thing not hearing from them means is they havent heard from the agency. Most times things move really fast when they want you, but sometimes things get put on hold for no reason. In any case, dont feel like you blew it--them wanting to bring you in means they like you.
Its good advice to put it out of your mind, keep looking and screw the recruiter who cant even pick up the phone. Its also good advice to hound them, but all theyll tell you is they havent heard anything. It all sucks, but when the agency does call the recruiter youll know in two minutes because suddenly, heyo, there's a commission to be made, so youre their best friend again.
Forget about them and keep looking. Use a different recruiter or network.
I hounded an internal recruiter after phone interview. Finally got her to schedule an in person interview. Then she invited me to a second interview and had to hound her again to get that scheduled. Now I'm waiting for next steps and hopefully, an offer. I'll be hounding her again.
So hounding isn't always the worst idea. Sometimes they just get very busy and overwhelmed. Though it's true that 90% of the time, sadly, they are in fact ghosting you.
