Just got a job at Deloitte M&A in Atlanta and am currently looking to buy a house. Would you advise I buy closer to Atlanta or the suburbs? I personally want to be in the suburbs but I hear the traffic situation is quite bad. Current consultants in Atlanta, how much time do you actually spend in the office vs remote vs client site? Would you advise I try and stay closer to the office?

Look at the fee structure of the plan you may transfer it to, compared to what you currently have. TSP fees are pretty low, but Deloitte's plan through Vanguard is also very low.
One thing to consider is that if you want the flexibility to take a loan against your TSP/IRA accounts is that there is a $50k limit.. but you can do $50k against your TSP and $50k against your IRA. So by keeping both accounts open you could take out a larger loan (and the TSP interest rate is lower for repayment than Deloitte's Vanguard account).
Otherwise the only consideration is how you take RMDs, and I haven't looked too closely at that yet. I'm not sure if having both accounts or consolidating to one represents an advantage, disadvantage, or is similar.
And of course there is something to be said for the simplicity of a single account... But if the TSP saved you $100k in fees over your life, I'd say that's worth keeping a second account open (I'm not sure it does, just an example)
Hmm. What are your financial goals and investment options? I think you need to consider these factors before making a decision.
