Should pre-LS non legal work be counted towards work experience when applying for new jobs in the legal field? For 8 years pre-LS I worked in a job related to law (primary client for clients, managed expectations, negotiated agreements, executed budgets). It's been 1.5 years since passing bars and getting my JD/MBA, I'm a rising 2nd yr associate applying to jr in house roles (which req min 3 yoe) but I'm rejected and told I don't have enough to experience. Should employers value my pre-LS work?

Advice please! I fell into my role (3 yrs) after 20 years in high commission sales. I went from managing a customer service team to overseeing the entire company in 18 months. It's a small tech startup that has done really well. Most of my job is project management and operations. We have 6 clients with 8 brands and usually have at least 1-3 marketing projects going on for each brand at any given time. I only have an associates degree....

I am a Digital marketer with almost 2 years of experience.
I recently joined a new company in Feb 2022, with in hand a Salary of INR 35000/month.

My boss thinks I waste my time researching the client's business and ways to grow it all day and I don't do much work. I ran campaigns on Facebook ads manager, Google ads, and keyword research for blogs & e-commerce, Analyze campaigns & optimize them regularly.

Still, my boss is not convinced that I am working worth 35000.

What should I do?

I’ve been asked by a client to coach their team on how to structure and write scripts for their corporate event content (e.g. panel discussions). I’ve happily had a crack at helping them but it’s a bit out of my wheelhouse - is this ask something that would ordinarily be given to an agency copywriter? Or would it usually be something a content or speech writer would do?
Either way, I’m happy to add the additional skill to my CV 😅

Is it true that if your project changes (client and work location changes) you have to file amendment on H1B? Does this apply to L1A also?

What is the expectation at your firms about coming into work after making your billable hours requirement? Asking especially for those who do not get a bonus per extra hour billed over the minimum.
