JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

Yeah. Even if I’m doodling. It helps to break intense awkward eye contact a bit

I’d find it more off-putting if candidates did not write anything at all down during an interview.
Agreed; when I interview candidates, I always appreciate when they take notes too from the conversation
I always did and just told them that I was taking notes, particularly when I asked them questions. They also took notes so it was just normal and no issue
Are you the interviewer or interviewee? I always have a list of questions to ask in both scenarios and jot the answers down I want to remember that will help me with my decision. Most interviews lately I don’t see people writing notes but just say I’m writing notes and no one will think twice!
Rising Star
I have. I have also asked and said “Do you mind if I take some notes?”, especially in any type of critical thinking line of questioning where you are provided a situation.
My interviewer told me I could take down notes and take a moment to think before launching into my answer, even for the behavioural portion
Use pen and paper!
I always feel better with a pencil in hand, even if I’m not writing
