10 years ago, on Valentine’s, I asked the love of my life on a date.
This year, on Valentine’s, I asked her to marry me.
She said no both times.
HAHAHHAHAHAH this one made me giggle.
People don’t fall in love in San Diego.
Why do you say that?
Met my SO on hinge and on our 4th or 5th date, we got sake wasted at saiko sushi in coronado. We walked over to the bay after dinner and my drunk ass fell in the ocean, fully clothed! Thankfully it was high tide so I didn’t hit rocks. He pulled me back up and pretty sure I fell in love with him that night. My hero LOL
Awe I love this story. I wish I had better luck on the dating apps to be honest.
Met my SO in Vegas at the Hard Rock Cafe at 2:00 am. I was playing blackjack. He was there for his friend’s bachelor party. That was in 2002. We are still together. I moved from MO to CA in 2007 so we could actually live in the same city.
That is amazing. What a great story!!!
I'm a transplant from the Northeast. I met my spouse back in Boston and we relocated to SD about 5 years ago. I knew he was "the one" when I couldn't envision my life without him in it.
Awe I love that. Congrats to you!
Late to the party here but I’m originally from the east coast, moved here about 4 years ago without knowing anyone. I got a puppy during Covid and got a fully remote job so started taking my and my roommates dog to the dog park and that’s how I met my boyfriend.
We would go around the same time everyday and our dogs would play which allowed us time to get to know one another.
Our first date was super casual since we were already “friends”
