Think you'll ever use the CFE again? How hard is it to get again if you lapse? I'm running into the same with my CPA.

Wondering if anyone is/was in a similar position: I’m interested in getting my MBA to open some of my options in VC. But, I know that ultimately I will be staying home with kids. I have a dedicated partner who is super passionate about their career and while I like my job, I’m much more okay with letting it go. I don’t imagine we’ll have kids for another 5 years, but is the time and money invested in the MBA worth it?

For those who have obtained the CFF certification:
I was asked to put together a working plan to obtain my CFF credential. I’m aware of the 2 certificate program (Core and Specialized) through the AICPA that will lead to the CFF. Does anyone have experience in how long it would take to complete the certificates and if there are other necessary or helpful study materials that would be useful? For background, I’m 6 months into working at this firm and have touched a variety of cases.

I’m a bit stuck and need advice.

I currently get to do about 2 days if design work a week but my other 3 days are devoting to marketing/biz admin work. I’d like to move into a full-time design role but think I may be falling behind my peers who get to work in Adobe 5 days a week.

I currently take 1 design class a quarter to supplement my skills but unsure what else I can be doing to not fall behind. How can I make the transition well?

I have an offer from Capco, it was much lower then I expected for the SC level EA at £80k. I'm at a stable role at a bank with a great WLB. My wife is a front line work. Though the travel costs and child care does not warrant the base salary Capco Should I take the hit and join capco?

My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. We plan on having kids within the next year or two, and it’s highly u likely that she’ll be able to keep her current gig. We want to find a career that allows her to work remote or that at least gives her a better work life balance so that she can see her kids grow up. Should she get certifications to give her a shot at adtech?Too late?
