Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

It's not just you. I'm realizing that Deloitte is a place where you get ahead not on the basis of merit, but on the basis of your ability to constantly fight for yourself and toot your own horn. It's the reason I'm looking for a job, I want to be somewhere where my skills and work speak for me. I'm an introvert and don't like bragging, so this culture just isn't a good fit.
How did you view the scatterplot results?
Interesting comments, thanks everyone. Clearly I was having check ins with these managers while on their projects and I didn't receive any negative feedback so it was quite a shock. This is my first year so hopefully I can use this as a learning experience and it won't seal my fate here
How do you see the scatterplot?
You shouldn't be that surprised because you should have had RPM check-ins every 2 weeks with your PMs. If your RPM check-ins were good (and you're being honest w yourself), but your scatter plot was bad, then you should reach out to your counselor to ask that he/she reach out to the PMs to discuss the disconnects. Your counselor should be doing the outreach to your PMs for you at this point, not you. That's why you have a counselor--for exactly these movements when PMs aren't giving direct feedback and facilitation is needed.
How did u figure out where you are at the scatter plot?
Happened to me last year. I had 104% utilization and got a 3 with being one of the lowest on the scatterplot. I did excellent work and both screwed me over. Passive aggressive AF and a really bad system
D2- let's say you crush it on everything (which is really hard to do), but piss them off on one thing, does that warrant them tanking your review?
Keep working hard but if you think it's realistic, start applying elsewhere. Can't hurt to do so now. Keep in mind in the last 6 weeks (or so) of the year, companies aren't really hiring much. It'll crank back up mid to late Jan or in Feb. Doesn't hurt to get the applications submitted. Hope everything works out!
A1 that sounds annoying AF
F the scatterplot
Been there, and I fought it. When the PPD looked into it, he came back with "well it looks like you had harsh graders because they didn't have anything negative to say" ... still didn't change my scores or get me promoted
@OP HOW DID U SEE THE SCATTERPLOT? The world needs to know.
I am Fed
Ahhh yes we commercial practitioners can't see it.
People have through Dec 10 to submit snapshots. Scatter plots will be out after. @op talk to your coach and don't worry too much. Find people who are in your corner and will step up on a review call. A friend was in a serious low spot on the scatter plot and still got promoted (def not fired). Also fed is bribing people to join so you should be extra safe
Should never be a surprise. I set up meetings with my managers every three weeks or so to get their feedback and make sure I'm on track.
Can you talk to your coach or relationship manager?
Advisory?
D6 is very right. Fighting for yourself is what will get you ahead
