When the team wants to redline my deck

Best consulting firms without the massive ego?
Hello! Anyone work at GE Healthcare?
Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

Rising Star
Everyone is in a similar position. You're not alone.
Same here. If I don’t get promoted, I’m leaving. It’s the company’s way of making more money. I’m billed at the next level already on a fixed price contract.
Convince me to stay
Got promoted to M this year with a measly raise.
While it sucks, it’s a blip in your career whether you get promoted this year with little salary bump or not. You can always hop firms or stick it out.
I’d think what your next 5 years look like and what you want to do. Avoid making any short term decisions thru a fogged lens.
The manager title will help you get a manager level role when you jump to another ship. It is a lot harder to jump from an sr associate to a manager role when switching roles.
If you can, get promoted and look for a role at another company with the appropriate pay mid/ late next year
Just my .02 cents: this is always the case - razor thin separation between candidates, fighting for ever dollar etc. I’m just not convinced COVID has made things that much harder. This is the promo cycle life. The company could be killing it during your next promo cycle and it will still feel like this.
