I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

There are probably some larger questions worth exploring. But re: your current project, communicate early but from a position of wanting to make it work and wanting you and the firm to be successful. Understand why you were seen as enough of a fit to be part of the project, clearly understand expectations, what good looks like and identify people who can support you. I think we have all felt overwhelmed on a project or two+ before. In my experience, sometimes it’s about pushing through, sometimes it’s about increasing my confidence and sometimes it’s about creating a net around me to help when I need it. There’s nothing wrong with LoA, but I would identify whether it’s a mechanism to help you run from something or if you need the mental break for your wellness.
What level are you OP? Have a honest conversation with your PM,analyze what’s causing the anxiety? Lack of skills? Client? Etc..if it’s skill then the team can cover and PM can coach you till the point you are up and running(though it may be too short) ,if it’s the client not your problem, escalate to your PM/partner..get to the root of the problem..
Also, the first few weeks are usually the worst. Do you think the issues will stop as you get more experience with the client? Can you set a goal for where you want the project to be in 2-4 weeks?
I was on an intense project for three months and it wrecked me mentally and even physically. Get out of it if you can after two month mark. I got an MD to pull me on another project and vouch for me. Also, don’t be afraid to take a leave; I know people who did that to escape a shitty project. Your health matters way more
It’s a major tech implementation, and I don’t have background (or interest) in this area. The transition between me and my predecessor was short and rushed and I know the clients won’t care about that (nor should they). I really just want to roll off, but I have no idea how to do so without a million pitchforks (one or which will come from my counselor). This is my third project since I joined this firm 2 years ago and I have never felt like I belonged here
