I promise Kellogg isn’t too big! It feels so manageable. People here are great, culture is lovely, everyone’s friendly, supportive, and willing to grow. But I echo those above: if your priority is academics, go to Booth. For anything else Kellogg’s where it’s at. Social impact has a pretty big scene here at Kellogg, tons of classes and ECs related to it

A few notes:
— Most people would choose Booth in this situation, since it has the best reputation + outcomes
— The difference between Kellogg and Booth is marginal. Kellogg is much more social and close-knit. I would speak with current students and visit the campuses and see which one you’d vibe with more. I personally would take Kellogg because I loved the culture when I visited, but it’s really up to you! Generally, if your priority is academics — Booth. If your priority is social — Kellogg.
— Is consortium fully funded? Any $ at Booth or Kellogg? If it’s a full-ride at Ross v sticker at Booth and Kellogg, then it really comes down to your goals, but in most cases, I’d take the $ and run. Ross isn’t quite as strong of a program but it’s still fantastic and will get you where you want to go.

Not that big of a difference IMO. I would take some serious scholarship money at Ross over Booth/Kellogg
I was choosing between W, B and K. I chose K because they gave me a full-ride and Booth gave me 40-50% ride. If money isn't an issue, choose whichever one you're most excited about. However, I would choose between Booth and Kellogg. Pick the one that gives you the most money. Social Impact is indeed a big scene at Kellogg. In fact, for pre-orientation this year, Kellogg has a 2-day Social Impact Day. Pasting info below:
"Social Impact Days at Kellogg (SI Days) is an annual event for incoming students interested in engaging in and learning about social impact at Kellogg, and how they can use their MBA to better serve society.
Over the course of an immersive two-day event, students interested in creating impact come together, learn from prominent speakers, and work in teams to design innovative approaches to real social challenges. SI Days culminates in an intense team pitch competition.
During Social Impact Days, 120+ students gather for a day and a half, to hear from inspiring speakers and faculty, and learn about social impact opportunities at Kellogg, including courses, funded conference/learning experiences, internships, and career options. For the main event, students join together in teams to explore their own potential for impact. Each team is challenged to design an innovative approach to a real social or environmental challenge. Teams present their solutions in a student pitch competition, and Social Impact Days culminates in awards and recognition for the final winning team."
I also can’t pick between Ross or Kellogg. Ross definitely seems a bit more laid back and overall more affordable than Evanston. I hear the larger class size at Kellogg prevents accessibility to events, classes, opps, etc. which also concerns me. Can anyone speak to this?
Hmm not sure what you mean about accessibility to events? Assuming parties? Or do you mean guest speakers? All of our events are open to everyone; most parties are at venues that hold 600+ and getting tickets to things is never an issue
For classes we use a bidding system so you bid on classes you want to take. There are plenty of classes; I can’t think of a class that I really wanted to take that I couldn’t end up taking
Curious where you heard that Kellogg is too big to allow for access to things? Our class size is only 450-500ish, much smaller than other programs like Wharton or HBS
