May I know what is the notice period if one resigns in infy during the first 6 months of joining? I am a lateral resource and they hired me in June, but they have no projects related to my tech and want me to take weird roles.. seems they are hiring to increase employee count and cross training most. just looking for options..

Hi. I would appreciate any advice on this. I have been working in TCS for 3 years in Support domain. I have completed my PGP in Data Science and Business Analytics. I have been trying to get placed in Accenture. I applied last November as a referral to Accenture. However, my resume was rejected. I thought it was because I was not serving notice period and still studying my PGP. However, I have completed my degree now and am looking to switch over. (In comments) Accenture Accenture India

Why would you lie? Telling the truth could help you. The recruiter could use that as leverage for a quicker offer.
Competing offers may work between two in house roles. But in OP situation, they are waiting for a law firm offer, I don’t think the in house offer would help that much here.
Nah, I probably would have done the same thing you did. Especially in this job market. You don't want to risk losing any offers.
“Are you active in the market?”
“Oh, no. Super happy where I’m at but this opportunity really stood out so I thought I’d contact you.”
If I were you, I would tell the recruiter that I am also in other processes and are very close to offer stages etc, I would not tell the detail of the offer though
In-house is the way to go no billable In a smaller law firm you will be working long hours
