I had an interview with Cognizant and then got an email from HR to fill in CIS form and also along with to send all the documents. After i send all those details i got an email saying the position went on hold and to wait until they revert.
Any idea that how much time it would take for the position to be released? They did not respond when i asked the same question.

Find out why your boss was sacked and make sure you don’t do anything that they did
Working on that. I can sense it was because he was in over his head newly promoted. I was technically at the same level as him but I’ve been operating at a senior exec level for a long time. I could do both his job and mine and not even break a 40 hour week. Perhaps they saw that?
You are the new boss.
Find out his responsibilities conquer those responsibilities get ready to be the next boss and accept that promotion
Congrats on the promotion
So awkward but you can only wait and see for now. Happened to my husband after his first month. He was getting better results and the team liked him more so now he’s the boss.
This was my plan and people have started coming to me as de-facto lead, but they put me under another peer of my boss as “interim until they hire a replacement.” I still can run circles around who they put me under, so I’ll be on best behavior, cooperative team player, positive and showing value. But if they still choose to layer me, I have a few other jobs I’ve kept warm so I’ll just threaten to leave if they don’t give the role to me.
Sit tight, don’t assume anything. There could be a lot of reasons why they were sacked. Focus on the job at hand. Find out who you are reporting to now, and keep them updated on your team/group progress. Keep it business as usual.
Talk to your rep in HR (if you have one) on the regular to update them and keep you updated.
