Starting new role with PwC next Monday 11/1, but already received the laptop a couple of days ago. Do you get an official notification before your start date stating the BGC is completed? How many days before start date do you know that? I have not resigned my current position and waiting for BGC to be successfully completed before I hand in my 2-week notice. It will be very tricky. I hand in my notice end of this week and I immediately start a 2-week vacation. Anything wrong with that?

I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus). Considering that I currently work 40-60 hours/week, I’ll be making significantly less per hour at the MBB.
