There's a ton of IM folks on the bench. What level are you at and do you have any PRD to back you up?
Dude, 58% for first year isn't bad. You won't get a 1 but you should be fine. Go to your office and try to connect with P/Ds out of your region just to get your name out there.
I've been on the bench for five weeks. The bench is deep for BAs but they give you a pass on your first year. Keep your counselor in the loop and you'll be fine. Do you know they're going to term you ?
Analyst...ton of initiatives, extra hours spent on learning, but just some PRD.
Gotcha. How low are we speaking here and does your counselor know? I'm an SC and the bench is deep
Are you federal or commercial?
58% utilization right now. Talk to Counselor and RM every week. Pretty close with counselor.
Commercial
Network more. I'm in federal (1st year bta) and have done 2 different commercial PRDs since New Years. Just make sure your network knows you're looking and deliver quality results when on one. As for projects, don't only look for IM projects. You can do IM work on non-IM projects that looks just as good and do initiatives to network with IM leadership
That's what I figured. No I don't but some ppl have been floating around rumors about people being let go bc bench is so deep.
Depends where you are. As long as you are keeping busy and doing trainings and adding value in other areas you should be alright. Keep your counselor in the loop but don't rely on your RM. Mine hasn't done shit for me. Up to you to determine your path.
Cool so first year as long as I'm doing shit and not just chillin waiting for RM to staff me, I shouldn't worry about getting fired at year end? Basically after PMY 1 is over I need to kick it in gear.
Join a start-up. You can't fool every client twice with the same BS.
What industry r u in and city
If you are waiting for RM to staff you then you are doing it all wrong...
