Would love to hear your negotiation wins and fails, and lessons learned. One of my learnings is simply to ask. If you don't ask the answer is definitely no. My example was asking for additional equity. I got back a no, but was offered a signing bonus.

After 2 years in which I’ve gained about 20 lbs, I’ve decided to give up on IF and admit it doesn’t work for me. I really believed the hype and hoped it would be a silver bullet for weight loss

As a junior I find the hardest part of my job is scheduling blocks of time to do the work while also dealing with urgent things that always come up during the day. And the constant inflow of tasks from partners with priorities. It’s soooo exhausting. I kind of wish I had a secretary sort out all competing task deadlines between partners and “urgent” tasks and just schedule it on my calendar. Kind of like a family physician would have. I just want to do the work. How can I make this easier?

How do you handle it when the kids just want to gather around you and chit chat? I feel so pressured by all the things that need to get done that I have to ask them to tell me later. Ideas please!
