Talked to a recruiter recently about a Senior Internal Audit position at a great company with a huge pay bump and ~10% bonus. Transportation would be covered, would be able to match PTO and get holidays. Everything sounds great including the team, but I would be stuck in IA for another couple of years. I told recruiter I wanted more IT focused role. Should I go ahead and apply and if I get the job, try to move internally eventually or just wait?

I spoke with a recruiter recently about a position in her company and before we even began talking about the job, she asked if I needed an sponsorship, I told her no, I dont need one. But she continued to press on the subject until I had to tell her I was a US citizen. I dont know why, but the whole conversation made me extremely uncomfortable. So my question is, can recruiters ask you about your visa/immigration status even when I told her I didnt need a sponsorship??

In the HR discussion, we both agreed on 30L CTC (10% Variable) and 1L joining bonus. But later after 2-3 days when they need to release the offer, HR is saying they got the approval for 28L CTC(10% variable) and 2L joining bonus.

Should I take that offer and look for other options or straight forward reject the offer and then look for other options?
