The Home Office releases on the new PBS immigration policy in the UK mention removal of cooling off period for shifting from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General visa. Does anyone know if this is only for new Tier 2 ICT visa folks or would this applying to existing Tier 2 visa holders too?

I’m having the hardest time finding a new job. I have 12 years of HR experience, a masters in HR, SHRM certification, and all I keep getting are rejection emails. Over the last couple of months I’ve interviewed for a number of jobs and made it to second and third round interviews but never got an offer. My last interview was on Monday and I got feedback that I did not get selected because it did not seem like I was a a team player. Ive got three interviews coming up and l am wondering how I can improve my chances of getting an offer. Any ideas are welcome. I need a new job like yesterday.

Is it difficult to move without a reference. I got all the skills needed in current job market. But looks like getting a job call itself is difficult.

Should I disclose or hide the fact that I am on maternity leave? I have an interview with a big law firm in NY. I’m currently working for a law firm in Atlanta. I imagine I will be asked whether I have returned to the office or working remotely from NY. My husband and I have been living in New York since the pandemic to be near family.
