Thinking about going through the interview process at Accenture for a Consultant - Data Scientist. I have 9 yoe and I am currently a Senior Consultant Data Scientist at Deloitte making $113k. The Accenture recruiter said the most she could get for me, if all goes well is $145k and a Manager level is not on the table/no openings. The compensation growth is nice but I’m hesitant I’d be shooting my self in the foot with title/level. Is this something I should pursue? Any advice?

Hi everyone, I’m seeking some advice - my dog (8yrs old) was attacked several months ago by another dog and after she became depressed and anxious. We got her anti depression meds and those seemed to help but how a lot now a lot of signs are pointing to a potential brain tumor. To get an MRI is +1k. There’s no reason you have to put up with a job you hate. I spent many years working in a toxic environment with a boss who gossiped and lead through fear. He wasn’t really much of a leader but basically a foreman. And he could make my existence miserable. I admit that it wasn’t easy to find another job but the bottom line is: trust your guts. If you feel something is wrong it’s because it probably is. Don’t second guess yourself. Look for options and and fight for your mental health.
