Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Don’t live there personally but a buddy of mine from college is doing his residency in SLC (U of Utah) and he loves it out there. We both grew up in LA and whenever I’ve gone out there it not something that’s pushed on you. I think the only area where it may be something that comes up is in the dating scene if that’s where you are in life but as with anywhere there’s plenty of fish out there
I did a lot of work there a few years ago. It's life before dating apps where you a actually have to go to bars *gasp* and meet people in real life.
I have 3 non-Mormon coworkers in their 20’s that love living there. I also worked there for a client project and really loved the people I interacted with overall. Smaller city though.
If you ski or snowboard, or want to learn, there’s no better place. And if SLC itself isn’t your vibe, Park City is just a half hour away and that’s even more amazing.
I live in SLC and I’m 22. I love it. The mountains and canyons are great to explore to relieve stress. There are a lot of non Mormons that live there (including me). The cost of living is pretty low. If you do move, be prepared for the snow. All wheel drive cars and snow tires are sometimes literal life savers. Maybe before making a decision, take a weekend to explore the city and see if it’s right for you. If you have any questions, feel free to DM me.
