My dad is dying of cancer. It’s been a slow progression the past few years since his initial diagnosis, but his health has severely declined the last couple months and now he doesn’t have much longer (doctors say it could be a matter of weeks). It’s been really hard juggling work and family lately. I’m trying my best but am just feeling very stressed. The Burrow in DTLA makes a stellar sandwich. One of the few places I've seen that imports jamon iberico. Very cool lounge, tucked away in a basement with no cell service, to enjoy a drink in peace at.
