Rewatching Brokeback Mountain, which came out 15 years ago (hard to believe that). Anyway, it's still an outstanding, devastating film (and love story) that I think if had been released 10 years later would have easily won best picture and best actor for Heath Ledger.

When this group started, it was a dream of mine to meet you while enjoying a drink or a meal and build a community of people who enjoy the city and wanted to explore its food. The Burrow in DTLA makes a stellar sandwich. One of the few places I've seen that imports jamon iberico. Very cool lounge, tucked away in a basement with no cell service, to enjoy a drink in peace at.

Best Viet/pho spots? I had found my own gem before moving from SF Bay area, but now need a new watering hole. Only place I have been is Little Sister. Very good but not sure pho is their specialty
