It's pretty easy but also pretty worthless

You can get prep tests as part of the internal PMP course and a free copy of the books. I teach in the course fairly regularly and pwc pays for your exam.

Read the PMP book and practice as many questions as possible until you're get 75-80% correct.

The Rita book. I've never actually opened my pmbok

Rita Mulcahey book. Read it. Know it.

Far from worthless. Allows me to probe around all sides of a project and deliver.

First lesson of project management: It's not my job to be liked.

You'll go far p3, following the pmbok ha

I'm taking the PwC fast track course. Is it worth reading the PMBOK?

Sure to supplement the core course materials. Slides cover the most important points.

Hi
Would love to get your opinion on this-
I am planning on applying to business school this year in round 1 and round 2. I am in india working at D. I have received an offer to work with another big 4 in London as manager with their consulting team starting June. The role is definitely a step up in terms of responsibilities from my current role as a senior consultant. Do you think it might hamper my business school application changing jobs so close to round 1? Have been at D for 4 yrs

In my current company I think the development portion I've been given is kinda simple, I've asked my manager and seniors to level up my work and stuff, *which they did* but I kinda caught up.. now what should I do, should I ask them to level up again or look for better opportunities
Also, I had some Interest in CyberSecurity and I grinded it on my pre-final semester at Uni, should I try on that path as well or should I stick to development?

When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.
