7lpa CtC what would be in hand monthly salary ?

I was promoted to marketing director in April but didn’t get a raise. This is when the CMO left and my workload has since doubled and I have four people reporting to me. I was hired at $105k so I’m making decent money but I’ve asked several times about bringing it to a director-level salary at $120k. You’re getting promoted but anticipating offer is going to be lower then expected and you want to negotiate (meeting has not happened yet). Would you bring up that the offer is lower than expected in the meeting or be thankful and excited during the meeting and set up a follow up to discuss compensation? I know it would need approval by more than just my boss anyway

Got an offer from a start up and it’s lower cash comp then my current comp but they claim they are giving more equity. I’m not sure when company will ipo and actually value of RSU since they are a private company.. is it worth the risk to bet on late stage start up with rsu’s and lower cash comp?
