For the last month I’ve been contemplating life. It hasn’t been so much if, but more so when. A director on my team in a different vertical has been pushing me to the brink with extreme emotional abuse and now sabotaging my livelihood; job security (health insurance, financial stability, place to live etc) following months of initiating a flirtatious relationship they finalized a divorce. Just months ago this was someone I saw spending my life with, growing old besides …

Trying to help my sister negotiate her comp, advice appreciated. Context: starting 9mo maternity leave. Got reached out by her bosses from 4y ago (very good experience both ways). Job is perfect match for her skillset. They asked for her expectations, she said 90. They told her range for the job was 90-110. Offer was made at 90 (50M valuation start up). Also got stock option (24k for 4y vesting, valuated at 50k today) Convinced her to negotiate for 110. Is that too late? What arguments to use?

Hello everyone !
I just graduated and I have made it pass the third interview which was a two part working interview that I will receive compensation for. I have BS degree in healthcare professions and wanted to know if 40k is too low of salary to start off as a compliance officer for a pharmacy that provides discounted medications. My first 3 months will be training for my position but I will be paid the same. The job hasn’t offered me a dollar amount yet and I want to be best prepared.

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.
Thanks for any help!

I was offered a contractor role (~20 hours a week) at 90/hour. This is extremely attractive because it’ll double my income (and the tax deductions from 1099 are solid). With that being said, I also want to see what kind of conflicts I can see given that I’m at a B4 firm.

I get the whole “you can’t have a second job” thing and don’t care but I’m actually worried about causing major conflict of interest.
