To those who know a bit about Aussie wines, would love your advice. I impulse purchased a bunch (>150 bottles) of Torbreck Run Rig 2005/2006 as a wine investment back in 2008. They’ve been stored in a cellar in HK ever since in untouched 6btl cases.
Any advice on how much longer I can keep Aussie Shiraz like this - and best places to sell these days? Thanks!

Check Wine Advocate or auction houses on Google. Cellar Tracker or similar will have user comments on their believed primary lives for specific wines.

Thanks, yes - quite a bit of variation in what people have said on cellar tracker etc. so asking for advice. As for finding auction houses on Google… I know Acker, K&L etc (who really want to sell my Bordeaux which Im keeping for another 15-20) but asking for people’s thoughts and recommendations.

The world was falling apart financially and you’re investing in wine. I like your style mate.

Young, immature and figured that worst case I’d be able to host an amazing party if it all hit the fan - it’s worked out well all things considered

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

Hi Fishes,

I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.

Do you all think I will be rejected?

Any recommendations on getting into wine? I love other specialty beverages (3rd wave coffee, craft beer), but struggle to “figure out” wine.

The ability to get involved with local beer and coffee producers has been a huge factor for me, so I’m guessing the comparative lack of local wine producers has contributed to me struggling to understand more of the process, culture, tasting notes, etc.
