Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Time to leave this industry, and open a business. It’s so toxic honestly
…..are you my Account lead? LOL.
Nope! But it seems like pharma is all the same. I want out!
The scenario you paint is ubiquitous with just about every car account I’ve worked on over decades. Especially the inability of a client to make a decision causing deadlines to be missed, and then blaming the agency.

My favourite thing to do in this situation is combine toxic positivity and timelines…
Write it ALL down. Every single interaction, email, change of brief, intervention etc in a timeline with screenshots. Deck the shit out of it.
Then, send it across to client with their leadership in cc and position it as “In The spirit of partnership and collaboration” you see this as an opportunity for optimisation, increased effectiveness, improved workflows and delivery.
If you can throw in something about “increasing shareholder value” that is just the icing on the cake.
