Hello, I need thoughts on this pls..

Checking in, how is everyone holding up?
I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Biased here, but I have worked at Big4 previously, so I have an informed opinion about both.
Accenture has scale in technology delivery that the Big4 just can’t come close to matching. That tends to equate to more opportunities, more access to training / partnerships with product companies, etc.
Also, the Big4 are always first and foremost accounting firms. They edge their way into consulting work when the regulators aren’t looking because it’s higher margin work. But don’t ever think they will sacrifice audit or tax work in favor of tech consulting. Your BD options will always be limited by whether a company is an audit client or not. And in the end, next time there’s a major accounting scandal, the Big4 will spin off their consulting arms again as happened post-Enron, and everyone is screwed.
Accenture is the 800lb gorilla. That has some downsides, but my opinion is Accenture has more potential upside for the reasons above.
If you are leaning toward Deloitte, I’ll say that they are almost always the one we see real competition from in deals we go after. So of the Big4, D is the best IMO.
I was previously at PwC’s and Deloitte’s WD Practices and I share the same sentiment as A1. Good luck OP!
I work at Deloitte and my husband is at Accenture. I recommend Accenture given the factors you listed. Better work life balance, more diversity, faster promotions, and they laid off significantly fewer and tend to be growing while I feel stagnant at Deloitte. Yes, I’m looking to leave Deloitte and join Accenture myself!
Deloitte has a better rep in my opinion
Why do you want to come to Accenture/D? Comp for workday is much better at a smaller partner
^ that isn’t true...the risk with smaller partners are the limited projects.
For stability I’m inclined to recommend big 4. Yes, I know layoffs are common everywhere but based on what I’ve seen/heard, listed companies like A will put shareholders above anything else therefore more risky. But again this probably depends on region and office etc.
😂 I’m definitely not an Accenture fanboy. There’s a lot to hate about Accenture. But I do try to look at these things somewhat objectively, and my points were all factual.
But hey, we’re all embracing a post-factual reality these days right? Why let real data get in the way of a good bullshit narrative?

If you want to be a Workday consultant for your life, Accenture is a better option. If you want to broaden your consulting skills, be a management consultant and a equity partner one day, go with Deloitte. If you want to have everything as Deloitte but nicer people to work with and don’t mind 10% less comp but way more job security, come to PwC 😊
Are you an analyst or coming in with previous workday experience ?
