Hi I've joined Harman in May but hasn't been assigned to any project yet. I've asked hr and reporting manager they said they're working on it and there's nothing to be worried about However I just want to know if there's anything I should be concerned about what's the bench policy? Looking for a position in Las vegas !?
Just got a job at Deloitte M&A in Atlanta and am currently looking to buy a house. Would you advise I buy closer to Atlanta or the suburbs? I personally want to be in the suburbs but I hear the traffic situation is quite bad. Current consultants in Atlanta, how much time do you actually spend in the office vs remote vs client site? Would you advise I try and stay closer to the office?

I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Hello Gang, I’m on the business side for Walmart right now. Walmart Global Tech recently offered me a role to move to the San Bruno office, but I’d be taking a demotion from L6 to E5. YOE: 8, COMP(200k base, 25% bonus, 100k RSU). Is this competitive in the bay? I have Doordash and Instacart in the pipeline, but no final offers yet.

I do most of my exploring on weekends since driving around takes time. Traffic sucks and under the best conditions, assume 1.5-2 hours to drive from SJ to SF. During the week, you can do dinner in different areas in SF and in the Peninsula to explore. Half Moon Bay is nice and has good restaurants, and there are some good wineries around Cupertino/the Santa Cruz mountains. Santa Cruz itself is a fun beach town. I’m relatively new to the area tho so I‘m still figuring things out myself. Happy to meet up as well. Also there is a major climate difference between South Bay (SJ) and SF- be prepared to dress accordingly and carry layers.
Send me your email and I can send some tips. Need to remember where we’ve been that was good.
There are a ton of great trails on highway 1, that you can explore in the evening.
I've lived here for years, happy to give restaurant recs. as far as outdoor space, depends on what you want to see/do and how far you're willing to go. Lots of great hikes in Saratoga area. Are you able to disclose which part of SJ you're staying?
Fave place to hike is Rancho San Antonio off of 280 north of Cupertino. Different levels and safe for solo/female hikes. Appropriate for early morning or after work too.
