I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

I’d say I’m a bit surprised that Kellogg took someone with that background. Possible they inflated their hopes of getting a job and they missed important milestones. People with non traditional backgrounds don’t always do well in M7, especially if they don’t have connections.
Not in this market
How did that person get into an M7, especially given their experience. Something must have impressed the admissions team?? It just proves that an MBA isn’t magic, you need the correct experience going into an MBA to succeed.
I definitely have that take away from it OP. Sometimes it really does not matter where you get your degree and especially now when they seem to care more about your experience than your education. Its sad beause of the amount of money that people pay to get these degrees at big fancy schools only to struggle to find a job.
