I just interviewed via zoom for JPMorgan Chase for trade support (thinking no more interviews were needed). The next day the recruiter calls me, saying that the team is very interest and went over logistics. She said she was going to talk back to the team and let me know next steps. The next day I get an e-mail requesting an interview again for the role but from the recruiting coordinator. Does JP give offers via zoom? Any similar stories?
I managed to secure an interview for JP Morgan Chase. This is for Asset & Wealth Management Global Private Bank Analyst program 2023. I ask my recruiter and he revealed me some info. This is a single interview session of 2 hours before getting any offer. I will face 5 interviewers. This will be all behavioral. For people who got into JP Morgan Chase, do you have any tip for me to pass this interview for this entry level role? JPMorgan Chase

Omg my heart aches for you 😞 Just remember life is short and you must make the best of it. Stay strong ❤ Can't you take family leave and go see her?
may be able to take a leave of absence
See if they can give to a secondment in your country?
^ thank you. I'm thinking that, but I honestly don't know how long she has and really just want to be there until her last moments without having to worry about leaving prematurely. I don't think I can take an open ended vacation request at my level (senior)?
Oh wow. Thanks everyone - this is making my busy season a bit less miserable. Def gonna try talking to counslr
I can only imagine how difficult this must be. I'd like to think your firm will work with you on this, you can always find work in accounting but won't always have this final window of time with family.
Can you talk to your counselor? They might know what your options are. I don't think you'll be able to get an open ended vacation, but hopefully you'll be able to get something.
Sorry for your loss.
Def ask to leave
OP...you can be out of country for 4 months. So byou can either take extend vacation or transfer for 3 months to your home country.
But I'm sensing you are in l1 or f1 right now. Correct?
Yes OP. Talk to your counselor. Same thing happened to my family and I had to go back to my home country in Asia. That was when I just joined the firm. I was able to take a leave of absent for 3 months. Hope things go well for you. Definitely talk to your counselor or people consultant
Counselor don't have much clout nor they ate knowledgeable of issues. Keep them in loop but talk to people's consultant and v&i consultant
Listen OP, I had to stay here for visa issues and lost my gran, uncle and aunt in space of 2 years. Go home and take a leave of absence. Your family needs you.
You definitely can. My grandma was in the hospital for over a month and I stayed home for 2 weeks. I just communicated to my manager that I wasn't going to take a leave of absence until I felt it was necessary, so I worked from home and visited my grandma until I felt comfortable going back to my office. Everyone was very understanding. If you wanted to use PTO and didn't have enough, there is something where HR will send out an email to the offices saying a co-worker is in a need a PTO donations for personal reasons (keeping you anonymous) and many people will donate so you wouldn't need to take a leave of absence.
Go spend time with your family! You won't get this time back with them, so figure out a way. Most people in this industry will find a way to make it happen because they know this is important. I'm doing the same. Leaving to spend time with my Dad as he is in hospice and has weeks left - team said go be with him, they will figure it out - no one dies if our work spent get done
Leave policy....Tell them you're her primary caregiver
Ask for a month off
I'm so sorry to hear that, OP. Just take a month off!
Sorry to hear that! Hope everything works out well for you no matter what decision you make
