Vanguard total stock market index fund VTSMX ($3k to start), then expand to total international stock market and total bond market funds as well (also $3k each to start). It's known as the 3 fund portfolio strategy....then don't look at it for 10 years.

Use Wealthfront. Invest in index funds with no fees at all for the first $15k

Roth IRA into an S&P 500 Index Fund. With compounding, you'll have a quadruple or a quint by the time you retire.

Stop wasting money on betterment or wealthfront!!! They charge outrageous fees. Choose something that's actually long term and would help towards your retirement like a simple vanguard individual account!!

like

Depends on your risk tolerance, expendable income and expected returns

Also...as many of us exceed the max MAGI for a ROTH IRA...look into a "Backdoor IRA" (via Google or Bogleheads to start)

Buy gold and silver.

Make sure you're making use of all the tax advantages accounts before opening a traditional brokerage account. IRA, 401K, and HSA. Then I'd suggest opening a vanguard brokerage account.

Roth IRA

P4 - make sure you don't run afoul with your firm's independence restrictions with index funds.

E3-Be careful with Roth IRAs. Your income has to be under a certain amount. I Passed up the limit a long time ago.

Betterment or wealthfront

D2 ... Thank you and good point. OP, if you choose a Roth with an Index fund, make sure you go through independence.

Let’s gauge how controversial my opinion is…I don’t enjoy pushing my 2 year old daughter into mainstream feminine things. She doesn’t have her ears pierced, isn’t in the daycare dance classes, and I hate that most little girl outfits revolve around leggings or shorts that end above the knee.

I’m having a really tough time on a project i was recently forced on to. I am doing my best to catch-up and trying to ask questions where i can. But today my manager basically called me an idiot for asking questions and said i should only ask ‘very specific’ questions. I have no one else to ask questions, no one who can guide me in this new project and I’m downing in concepts i don’t understand. I am so scared to ask for help now that i know how the M reacted.

I’m spiraling i can’t stop crying
