I’d say a simple “Thank you. Happy Holidays!” would suffice.
I don't respond
You know that every dime of salary or bonus or benefits could have stayed in the partners pockets. Didn’t your mama teach you how to say “thank you”😉
I’m from the south so this is definitely how I think! But I sorta feel like the partner eye rolls unnecessary emails. Or any emails. Because I rarely get replies 😬
Yes I would just say thank you for this information. Could throw in a happy holidays.
I usually respond ... "Thank you and Happy Holidays"
Lol I usually wouldn’t respond or overthink this, but my previous boss told me at a performance review that “it’s rude” that I “don’t respond to information and say thank you” and I was like - well I don’t like when my inbox is flooded with unnecessary & not actionable messages so I try to spare others 🤷♀️
Definitely worked for people like that before too and it’s obnoxious.
I don’t respond.
You should absolutely reply to acknowledge a pay raise or bonus with some kind of gratitude. Seems exceptionally rude not to. They are literally giving you something. But I am a please and thank you person.
Don’t respond? If it’s generic, I don’t think it warrants a response.
