We are 9 to 3:30 with half hour lunch and one 15 minute break.
We are 8:00-4:00, ages 2 1/2 to 5. Special Ed, autism spectrum kids. 30 minute lunch, no breaks. Even though our contract says we are to have a 15 minute break!
Same. 8:30-3:30 tho. 30 min lunch. No break. Self contained where we are kicked, punched, pushed by 2, 3, 4 graders who are bigger than I
I feel it is. We to 720 to 320 with one break. If we want we can take our two 15 minutes out of the room but I feel like it's rare.
Very Regular.
Yes. We have this in high-school too except there is less hitting and scratching and kicking. Trust me. I've been hit, kicked grabbed more I'm high school autism than when I was at a day hab. We get a lunch but we rarely get our 15 minute breaks. I feel like we have a lot of down time in high school.
8-3:15 one 15 minute break and 1/2 hour lunch is typical in districts around here.
Our staff is to afraid to ask for an extra 15 so all we get is a 30 minute lunch, which we never get the full 30 because we are expected to be somewhere with the students so we are always running back to be with them. Meanwhile the teachers get an hour lunch, 2 prep periods while the students are at specials i.e. gym/art/music. they collect 3 times the pay and we are just the nobodys in our building.
