Besides pay, I don’t understand what you could really dislike about WMP. And honestly, even pay is fine if you negotiate to higher end of your pay band and hit just a few travel bonuses
Agree wholeheartedly. After all the talk of I&D just look around at how many females or people of color in leadership roles that haven’t been there since the doors opened. Tired of the having to look, talk and act the same and highly judge mental culture.
FWIW, very happy at west Monroe the past 10+ years.
Maybe could have gotten more $ elsewhere, but think the overall working conditions more than compensate, and the esop is turning out to be very lucrative.
Have personally experienced many client environments plus interaction with competitors, and have not found a compelling reason to change.
WLB is relative. Is it better than Deloitte? Sure. Is it wayyyy worse than industry still? Yup.
“Quality over growth” is the bigger heap of steaming slag. We are experiencing major growing pains and client delivery quality is all over the place. Why ?
You're not the only one! Likely headed toward Slalom myself
I am kind of going in the opposite direction. Talking with WM now. Would you recommend it?
For your question, I don’t know much about RP but Slalom has a good WLB since they mostly do local projects.
Our talent acquisition team as a whole doesn’t seem to get. Huge hurdle for us to attract quality talent.
Hey WM OP - sorry to hear you’re considering leaving. Happy to talk through anything via DM if it helps. However, I also understand if you are considering leaving and have no judgement - this firm isn’t for everyone I will admit.
M1 - Personally, I’d recommend WMP. Happy to talk further via DM. But again this is just my perspective.
But then your recruiter seems to be really low balling it. They need to understand the level alignment a little better. Perhaps some training?
